Jajpur, Nov 25: The Crime Branch of Odisha Pollice started investigations into the MLA Himanshu Sahoo assault case on Monday morning.

The CB formed three teams and took up three different cases, respectively, concerning the attack on the MLA on November 13.
ADG Binayatosh Mishra is leading the investigations. Additional SP and DSP rank officers have headed the teams.

Former MLA and BJD leader Bobby Das may likely be brought under the purview of the investigation for his alleged involvement in the assault case.

Notably, MLA Himansu Sahoo was attacked by a mob at Budhapola under the Jajpur Sadar police station limits on November 20.
Bobby Das and his brother Lala Das are suspected to be behind the incident. MLA Sahoo has demanded that the former MLA Bobby Das be arrested at the earliest.
