Odisha CM Majhi, Deputy CMs Singh Deo & Parida Likely To Leave For Delhi Today

Bhubaneswar, June 26: Chief Minister Mohan Majhi and his deputies, KV Singh Deo and Pravati Parida are scheduled to visit New Delhi today. This would be their first visit to New Delhi after forming the BJP government in Odisha. 

The CM and the Deputy CMs will likely give Prime Minister Narendra Modi a courtesy call during their visit. Besides, they will also meet BJP top leaders like Union Minister Amit Shah and party president JP Nadda.

Party sources said CM Majhi and his deputies would discuss with the Prime Minister the implementation of promises made by the PM during the election campaign. 

CM Mohan Majhi and 15 others, including Deputy CMs Singh Deo and Parida, took the oath of office and secrecy on June 12 at a grand function held at Janata Maidan. With this, the first BJP government was formed in Odisha.
