Paradip/Bhubaneswar, Sept 16: Odisha is celebrating Vishwakarma Puja across factories, shops and offices using traditional and modern machinery amid much religious fervor and gaiety today.

Puja of Lord Vishwakarma, Maker of the World, is celebrated at individual houses and community places. From small motor garages to large factories using various machinery worship Lord Vishwakarma for their well-being for the year ahead.

Festivities are marked in a big way in the State's industrial cities like Paradip, Angul, Rourkela etc.

In the industrial estates of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack, the puja is also celebrated with devotional touch.
Like earlier years, Port Town Paradip is all set to glitter with 30 magnificent pendals where Vishwakarma Puja will be celebrated for a few days, starting today. Cultural programmes in the evenings will pull more crowds to the pandals.
In Nalco Nagar, Angul, 19 Puja Pandals have been set to worship Lord Vishwakarma this year.
