Odisha: 30 Students Fall Ill After Eating Midday Meal In Kandhamal School, Six Critical

Phulbani, Dec 7: At least 30 students of a government-run school in Odisha's Kandhamal district fell ill after having midday meal in the educational institution on Saturday. The condition of around six students is said to be serious, sources said.

According to sources, the incident took place at Simanbadi Upper Primary School under Daringbadi block in Kandhamal district.

Students complained of stomachache and vomiting after consuming the midday meals provided at the school. The school staff and teachers noticed students vomiting and took them to the Simanbafi hospital.

Six students, who were serious, have been shifted to the Community Health Centre in Daringbadi for further treatment.
