NSE Launches Mobile App, Expands Website To 12 Languages; MD Conveys Diwali Wishes

Mumbai, Nov 2: On the auspicious occasion of Diwali, the National Stock Exchange of India (NSE) launched its official NSE mobile app (NSEIndia) and expanded its corporate website, www.nseindia.com, to support eleven regional languages. This dual launch underlines NSE's dedication to creating a more inclusive financial ecosystem for investors across the nation.

NSE MD and CEO Ashishkumar Chauhan wished all stakeholders as the NSE completed 30 years of its operations on November 1.
“Wishing everyone a very happy and prosperous Diwali. Muhurat Trading at the NSE this year holds unparalleled significance, commemorating 30 years of NSE’s operations This remarkable journey symbolizes trust, innovation, and growth within India’s financial landscape. Investors are encouraged to conduct thorough research before making any investment decisions, as promoting investor awareness has been one of NSE’s priorities. We appeal to retail investors to pursue sustainable wealth creation through long-term investment," Chauhan noted. 
Diwali Mahalakshmi Puja is of huge significance to most Indians, but it is even more important to NSE as the equities market trading commenced in NSE on November 3rd, 1994, evening during Diwali Puja, the NSE MD noted further. 

The mobile app launched and the website expanded today will provide content in 8 Additional Indian languages i.e. Assamese, Bengali, Kannada, Malayalam, Oriya, Punjabi, Tamil and Telugu, besides existing English, Hindi, Marathi, and Gujarati. The total number of languages being supported on NSE rose to 12.
The newly launched NSE mobile app (NSEIndia) empowers investors with an intuitive, secure, and feature rich platform on the go. This application is available on Apple App store and Android App Store, from today onwards.
