Multiple Trains Cancelled Due To Suspension Of Track Between Vijayawada-Rajahmundry

Bhubaneswar, Sept 2: In a disappointing development for passengers, multiple trains have reportedly been cancelled and some got partially cancelled due to the suspension of track between Vijayawada-Rajahmundry.

Heavy rains lashing Telangana and Andhra Pradesh have disrupted the train traffic in both states resulting the cancellation and partially cancellation of several trains. The track was flooded with water overflowing from lakes and streams in a few places.

Reportedly, Bhubaneswar-Secunderabad Visakha Express (Train No. 17015), Bhubaneswar-Bangalore Prashanti Express (18463) and Bhubaneswar-Mumbai Konark Express (Train No. 11020) leaving from Bhubaneswar Sept 2 will remain cancelled. The Sambalpur-Nanded Express (Train No. 20809) leaving from Sambalpur will also remain cancelled.

Train No. 12863:    Howrah-SMVT Bengaluru Express remain cancelled Sept 1
Train No. 12867:    Howrah-Puducherry Express remain cancelled Sept 1
Train No. 12839:    Howrah-MGR Chennai Central Mail remain cancelled Sept 1
Train No. 22642:    Shalimar-Thiruvananthapuram Express remain cancelled Sept 1
Train No. 12835:    Hatia- SMVT Bengaluru Express remain cancelled Sept 1
Train No. 12703:    Howrah-Secunderabad Falaknuma  Express leaving Howrah Sept 1 
Train No. 22863:    Howrah-SMV Benguluru Super Fast Express leaving Howrah Sept 2
