Moving Car Catches Fire On NH-16 In Bhubaneswar; No Casualties

Bhubaneswar, Oct 15: A moving car caught fire on NH-16 near the Nayapalli Durga Puja Pandal in Bhubaneswar on Tuesday evening.

The incident caused panic among nearby commuters as the vehicle suddenly burst into flames.

According to sources, the car’s driver acted swiftly upon noticing the fire, pulling over immediately to ensure the safety of the passengers.

All occupants were able to exit the car in time, escaping the blaze without any injuries. Their prompt action prevented what could have turned into a serious tragedy.

After getting information, Fire service personnel rushed to the spot to douse the flame. Despite their prompt response, the car was completely consumed by the flames before they could fully control the blaze.

“The cause of the fire was immediately not known. Further investigation is in progress,” a senior official said.
