Bhubaneswar, Apr 5: The grueling heat wave, which is presently sweeping many parts of the state, is expected to continue for two more days.
The regional centre of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow warning to six districts. The districts that have been issued yellow warnings are Keonjhar, Angul, Boudh, Nayagarh, Bolangir, and Malkangiri. The warning will remain in force till April 6.
Similarly, a yellow warning on account of an expected rise in night temperature has been issued to four districts till April 6. These districts are Bolangir, Kandhamal, Bhadrak, and Boudh.
With soaring heat, the humidity will remain from 50-70% in the states.
On the other hand, the regional centre is predicting a Nor'wester in the state on April 6.
