Puri, Mar 28: Bollywood's yesteryear superstar Meenakshi Seshadri visited Shree Jagannath temple here in Odisha on Thursday and offered her prayers to Lord Jagannath, Balabhadra and Devi Subhadra.

“Jai Jagannath. If Lord Jagannath wills, He pulls his devotees to the Srimandir. I was invited to attend a programme in Bhubaneswar and I thought it's Lord Jagannth's blessings to visit Puri and have a darshan of the Holy Trinity. I prayed to Lord Jagannath to make my life meaningful," the veteran actress said after visiting the 12th century shrine.

"Earlier, I came to Puri  around 30 years ago and had a darshan of Lord Jagannath. I am very fond of the hospitality of the people of Bhubaneswar and Puri," she added.

The actress also hailed the developmental work carried out around the temple.
