Manoj Ahuja New Chief Secretary Of Odisha

Bhubaneswar, June 28: The State Government Friday announced the appointment of senior IAS officer Manoj Ahuja as the next Chief Secretary of Odisha. Ahuja will replace incumbent CS Pradeep Kumar Jena. 

Ahuja, a 1990-batch IAS officer, was on Central deputation serving as Additional Secretary of the Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Department of the Government of India.  

While the extended six-month term of incumbent Chief Secretary PK Jena will end on June 30, the new Mohan Majhi Government requested the Union Government for Ahuja's repatriation to Odisha which was approved by the latter. 

The Union Cabinet approved the relief of d Manoj Ahuja on Tuesday.

A notification issued by the General Administration Department informed about the appointment of Ahuja as the next Chief Secretary of Odisha.
