Koraput: Jeypore Block AEE Biswanath Patro In Odisha Vigilance Net

Jeypore, Dec 3: Odisha vigilance sleuths have launched searches at various locations related to Biswanath Patro in connection with the allegation of possession of Disproportionate Assets (DA) to his known sources of income.

The state vigilance are conducting searches simultaniously at six different locations linked to Patro, who works as Asst. Executive Engineer (AEE), Jeypore Block and in-charge Municipal Engineer, Jeypore Municipality in Koraput district.

"The searches are being conducted by Odisha Vigilance led by one Addl SP, two DSPs, eight Inspectors, six ASIs, and other supporting staff on the strength of search warrants issued by the Special Judge Vigilance, Jeypore at his 6  following places in Jeypore, Ganjam and Bhubaneswar," the Odisha Vigilance wrote in a post on its official 'X' -- formerly Twitter -- handle.

As per the report, besides the Jeypore vigilance, teams of Bhawanipatna, Nabarangpur and Malkangiri are also taking part in the searches.

  2. Two storeyed building  located at Paternal land Koli Sahi, Belaguntha, Ganjam.                        
  3. Office chamber of Sri Biswanath Patro at Jeypore Block.
  4. Office chamber of Sri Patro atJeypore Municipality.
  5. Office chamber of his spouse at DIET, Jeypore.
  6. House of his relative located at Niladri Vihar (Patia), Bhubaneswar.
