Keonjhar: 12 High School Girls Fall Ill, Hospitalized

Keonjhar, July 7: Parents of the Keshadurlapal Janmangal High School under Anandpur sub-division in Keonjhar district continue to be in a state of fear as daughters of some of them fell ill in their classrooms due to an unknown disease in the second such incident today. 

A total of 12 students, belonging to Class IX and X, fell ill while studying in their classroom. They were first rushed to the Keshdurapal Community Health Centre. However, they were soon shifted to the Anandpur sub-division Hospital as they felt pain in the chest and difficulty in breathing. 

Such a situation occurred in the school last Saturday. Three girls were taken ill then. They were discharged after treatment. 

While parents and teachers are disturbed the incident occurred for the second time in just four days, doctors have confirmed that the students don't have any health complications.
