Bhawanipatna, Feb 2: The body of a Junior Engineer (JE), who was missing since Thursday, was found floating in Mukhiguda Indravati lift irrigation canal near Sonamal in Odisha's Kalahandi district on Friday.
The deceased has been identified as Bhabanishankar Mahant. He was posted as JE at Kusumkhunti Division.
After getting information, local police reached the spot and started investigation into the matter.
