Bhubaneswar, Mar 20: Several parts of Odisha woke up to a stormy morning as rain continued to pour down on Wednesday.
Twincities, along with Khordha, Nayagarh, Puri, Jagatsinghpur, Cuttack, Ganjam, and Kandhamal districts also received rainfall.
Heavy rains accompanied by gusty wind lashed several parts of Odisha, including the state capital under the influence of ‘Kalabaisakhi’ (Norwester) yesterday.
The Meteorological Department has issued an orange warning for lightning, thunderstorms, and rain in nine districts today.
These districts include Keonjhar, Angul, Dhenkanal, Jajpur, Kandhamal, Kalahandi, Balangir, Subarnapur and Boudh.
