Judicial Commission Begins Probe In Bharatpur PS Harassment Case

Bhubaneswar, Sept 30: The judicial commission headed by retired Orissa High Court judge Justice Chittaranjan Das started probing the Bharatpur police station harassment case on Monday morning. 

The commission has opened its office at Circuit House in Bhubaneswar. 

According to the information, the commission will issue a notification, seeking affidavits from all concerned. 
Earlier, the Odisha government handed over 'terms of reference' to the commission. 

Notably, the State government formed the judicial commission to investigate the alleged harassment meted out to an army officer and his fiance at the Bharatpur police station on September 15 night.
