Jindal Steel And Power Commissions 15 MW Rooftop Project In Odisha's Angul

Angul, Feb 26: In a significant step towards achieving its Net Zero aspirations, the Jindal Steel and Power (JSP) commissioned a 15 MW roof-top solar project at Angul in Odisha on Monday.

The JSP also introduced e-vehicle services for movement of employees at its steel manufacturing facility at Angul.

JSP Chairman Naveen Jindal flagged off a fleet of 10 electric buses and 27 electric SUVs for movement of employees within the plant premises.

"The introduction of electric vehicles and the commissioning of our extensive solar installations at the Angul unit are significant steps towards fulfilling our commitment to achieving Net Zero, and to building a cleaner and greener Earth for future generations," the JSP said in a statement.
