Bhubaneswar, Sept 10: Senior BJP MLA Jayanarayan Mishra Tuesday demanded that the Mamita Meher murder case and related Gobinda Sahu suicide case be handed over to the Central Bureau of Investigation for a proper probe soon.

Raising the issue during the Zero Hour, the Samblapur BJP MLA said the mystery still shrouds the two incidents, and people want the incidents to be unearthed and culprits to be punished as per law.

Investigation into this incident should be handed over to the CBI, said Mishra.

Mishra also raised Swami Laxmanananda and Minister Naba Das murder issues.

"Investigations into murder cases of Swami Laxmananda, Minister Naba Das, and Mamita Meher and the suicide case of Gobinda Sahu have not satisfied people. People suspect that proper investigations have not been made into these incidents. A CBI investigation can weed out suspicion from people's minds," said Mishra.
