Jajpur: Youth Body Found From Canal, Family Allege Murder

Jajpur, Sept 5: The body of a youth was found Thursday from a canal near Rathia village under Dharmasala Police station limits in Jajpur district.

The deceased has been identified as Rudra Prasad Behera, son of Narahari Behera of Abhayapur village.

According to the reports, Rudra was missing since three days. The family had lodged a written complaint at Dharamshala police station yesterday. 

Today morning, the body of the youth was found from a canal near Rathia area. Soon, his family members were called and they alleged that their son was murdered.

On being informed police reached the spot and started the investigation.
