Jajpur: Woman Goes Missing After Jumping Into Kharasrota River

Jajpur, Sept 19: A woman went missing after jumping into the Kharasrota River from the Rajghat bridge Under Japur Sadar police staion limits in Jajpur district, Thursday.

The missing woman has been identified as Mandakini Samal, a resident of Sribantapur.

According to eyewitnesses, Mandakini kept her scooter, shoes, and mobile phone off the bridge before jumping into the river.

The woman was working as an Anganwadi supervisor. 

The reason behind Mandakini’s motive is yet to be known.

On being informed, police reached the spot and started an investigation.
