IPS Suresh Dev Detta Singh Takes Charge As Bhubaneswar-Cuttack Police Commissioner

Bhubaneswar, Sep 30: Senior IPS officer Suresh Dev Detta Singh on Monday assumed office as the new Police Commissioner of Bhubaneswar-Cuttack.

Singh, 1998-batch IPS officer, took the charge of his office from the outgoing Police Commissioner Sanjeeb Panda at the Police Commissionerate Headquarters in Bhubaneswar.

Yesterday, the Odisha govt effected a major reshuffle in the state's police ranks and transferred 50 IPS officers, including Bhubaneswar-Cuttack Police Commissioner Sanjeeb Panda and DCP Prateek Singh.

Sanjeeb Panda was made ADG (Training) and Director of Biju Patnaik State Police Academy (BPSPA) while Prateek Singh has been made SP Cuttack (rural).

Puri SP Pinak Mishra and Ganjam SP Jagmohan Meena have been posted as new DCPs of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack, respectively.
