Intense Heatwave To Torment Odisha For Next 48 Hours, Respite From Sunday

Bhubaneswar, Apr 19: Odisha is grappling with an unrelenting heatwave with cities in the state recording temperatures above 40 degrees Celsius on Thursday. 

The weather department issued orange and yellow warnings of heat wave conditions for several districts in the state during the 48 hours.

There is possiblity of temperature touching 45 Degree Celcius today, said IMD.

However, mercury level is expected to fall from Sunday onwards under the influence of rainfall and thundershower activity.
