In Democracy No One Destroys Anyone, But People Destroy When Deceived: Pradhan

Sambalpur, May 9: The ruling BJD is in fear now. In a democracy, no one destroys anyone. When deceived, people destroy. This time, the Odia people will defeat the BJD and break it.

Union Minister and BJP Sambalpur Lok Sabha candidate Dharmendra Pradhan stated this while responding to the media on the BJD's accusation that the BJP will break it.

The Union Minister said Odisha people's trust in Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be reflected in the coming Assembly and Lok Sabha votes.

"Our prime ministerial candidate is Narendra Modi. Will they clarify who is the Prime Minister face of Biju Janata Dal," wanted to know Pradhan.

He said Odisha people will bless the BJP for all 21 Lok Sabha seats. Because Prime Minister Modi has many development plans in Odisha, people's trust in him has increased. In the last 10 years, Odisha has been given Central grants of Rs 18 lakh crore. 34 lakh people have got houses under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. 50 lakh farmers have got money under the Krushak Samman Nidhi Scheme. Record amount of funds availed to Odisha under MGNREGS.

After the Congress government, the BJD government cheated the people of the State for the last 24 years. The Prime Minister has urged the people to vote for the BJP this time.

"Why Odisha is poor despite having all richness. Why Odisha youths are going outside in search of work. Why schools lack teachers, medical lack doctors," wanted to know Pradhan.

He alleged that the BJD government had hatched a conspiracy to sell out tribals' lands.

"Modi has given a guarantee to make Odisha a number one State if the BJP is given an opportunity," he said, slamming the BJD leaders for criticizing the PM.

"Is the BJD lying after cheating Odisha people for 24 years or is Modi lying after making developmet works in 10 years? Why are those who ruled for 24 years not answering the BJP's questions on the basic issues of Odisha? A person born with a golden spoon does not understand the plight of the poor," pointed out Pradhan.

He contended that Prime Minister Modi comes from a poor family. He will do the welfare of the poor. Odisha will develop under the leadership of Modi, the Union Minister said.

To a separate question of the media, the Union Minister said that the democracy of our state and country is very strong. Sambalpur is a big battleground of state politics. This time Sambalpur will decide the politics of Odisha. Whatever Sambalpur decides this time, Odisha will repeat that decision. Sambalpur is with Modi, he said.
