IMD Issues Heatwave Warning In 6 Districts Of Odisha

Bhubaneswar, Apr 21: The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) issued heatwave warning to six districts for the next 24 hours on Sunday.

The districts of Mayurbhanj, Sambalpur, Boudh, Nayagarh, Keonjhar and Balangir have been warned of severe heatwave condtitions by the weather department.

In 13 districts of Odisha, intense heat wave conditions along with loo will disrupt the day-to-day business of the people.

Earlier in the day, one student died due to sunstroke in Cuttack district. On April 18, another man of Balasore had succumbed due to sunstroke.
