IIT Student Commits Suicide In Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar, Sept 4: A student of Indian Institute of Technology, Bhubaneswar, committed suicide at a hostel, reportedly she was living in.

The student has been identified as Kritika Raj, a third year B-Tech student. She was a native of Delhi.

According to reports, she jumped from the fifth floor to end her life. The body of the deceased has been recovered and has been kept at the Capital Hospital. 

Police are reportedly waiting for Kritika's parents. After they arrive, the body will be taken for post-mortem. 

Investigation is underway as police are trying to find out the reason behind such a heartbreaking move by Kritika. The reason behind the suicide is not clear yet.

However, preliminary investigation says that Kritika had returned from Delhi 10 days ago. She had reportedly been living quietly for last few days.

More details are awaited in this matter as police continue their investigation.
