IAF Agniveer Vayu 2024 Recruitment: Online Application Opens On July 8

The Indian Air Force (IAF) has invited online applications for the selection test for Agniveer Vayu Intake 02/2025 under Agnipath scheme.

Unmarried Indian male and female candidates, who are interested in joining the Air Force as Agniveer Vayu can apply online at the official website, agnipathvayu.cdac.in.

The online application process will commence on July 8 at 11AM and conclude on July 28 at 11PM.

The selection test will be held from October 18 onwards.

Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit: The candidate should be born between July 3, 2004 and January 3, 2008. If a candidate clears all the stages of the selection process, then his/her upper age limit as on date of enrolment should be 21 years.

Marital Status And Pregnancy: Only unmarried candidates are eligible. Female candidates must commit to not becoming pregnant during the four-year engagement period.

Educational qualification:
A: Science Subjects

  • The candidates should have passed the Intermediate Exam (Class 12) or equivalent with Mathematics, Physics, and English from Education Boards recognized by Central, State and UT with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English, or
  • Passed Three years Diploma Course in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Automobile /Computer Science / Instrumentation Technology / Information Technology) from Central, State and UT recognized Polytechnic institute with 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in Diploma Course (or in Intermediate/Matriculation, if English is not a subject in Diploma Course), or
  • Passed Two years Vocational Course with non-vocational subject viz. Physics and Mathematics with 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in Vocational Course (or in Intermediate / Matriculation, if English is not a subject in Vocational Course).

(B) Other Than Science Subjects

  • The candidates should have passed Intermediate or equivalent examination in any stream/subject from with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English, or
  • Passed two years of Vocational course with at least 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in Vocational course (or in Intermediate/Matriculation if English is not a subject in the Vocational course).

Application Fee: The candidates are required to pay a fee of Rs 550 plus GST while registering for the online examination.
