Bhubaneswar, Aug 27: Most places in Odisha are very likely to experience heavy to very heavy rainfall for the next four days under the influence of a well-marked low-pressure area over Gangetic West Bengal.
The low-pressure area is likely to move west-northwestwards across Gangetic West Bengal, Jharkhand and adjoining north Odisha during the next two days, informed India Meteorological Department (IMD).
For today, IMD has issued yellow warning for six districts- Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Jharsuguda, Sundargarh, Sambalpur and Deogarh.
These districts that are likely to experience rain and People have been advised to keep a watch on the weather and accordingly move to safer places to avoid lightning strikes.
