Bhubaneswar, Apr 26: Several parts of Odisha have been sizzling due to the soaring heatwave situation.
However, Bhawanipatna recorded the highest temperature by 8: 30 AM.
Bhawanipatna sizzled at 36.2°C followed by Keonjhar at 35.6°C.
The temperature was recorded at 35°C in Talcher, Baripada and Angul.
Likewise, The temperature is standing at 33.6 degrees Celsius in Bhubaneswar and Balasore and it is standing at 33.2°C in Cuttack.
Notably, the IMD has issued a red warning for 9 districts for a severe heatwave situation in Odisha.
The temperature is likely to increase by 2 to 3 degrees Celsius in the next two days.
