Group Fight In VIMSAR; 3 Intern Students Injured

Sambalpur, Oct 7: Three intern medical students were injured as a group clash erupted during a programme at the Veer Surendra Sai Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, Burla in Sambalpur district late on Sunday night. 

A Utsav was underway when two groups of students indulged in a quarrel. Following arguments, they clashed and three intern students were injured. 

On being informed, VIMSAR Director and local police reached the spot and talked to the angry students. Normalcy was restored after talks. 

However, the exact reason behind the group fight is not known yet.

VIMSAR authorities and police have kept vigil and are taking steps to ensure that the situation doesn't escalate further.
