Dhenkanal, May 5: The dead body of a girl was found hanging in a house at Gobari village of Bama gram panchayat under the Mahabirod police station limits in Dhenkanal district this morning.
Family members alleged that the girl was murdered and then hanged by someone while there was no other family member in the house.
In their complaint, the family alleged that their daughter was beaten severely and he administered poisonous injections. After she died, the miscreants hanged her body from an iron ring.
Police were yet to reach the spot.
