Five Of Family Taken Ill After Consuming Mushroom Curry In Kalahandi Village

Bhawanipatna, July 23: As many as five persons of a family were taken ill and hospitalized in critical condition after they ate mushroom curry cooked in their own house at Babeguda village under Golamunda block in Kalahandi district today. 

The ailing persons comprising two women and three men have been admitted to the Dharmagarh hospital. 

According to the information, Bidyadhar Sagadia had collected mushrooms from his agriculture field.  Later the mushroom curry was cooked and five members of his family ate it in the lunch. After a few minutes, all of them developed vomiting and dysentery. 

Latest reports said the family members recovered after treatment.
