Five Injured As Picnicker Groups Clash In Sundargarh

Sundargarh, Sept 30: Five people were injured as two groups of picnickers clashed at Dungulei Hill under Kutra block in Sundargarh district on Monday morning. 

According to the information, a group of youths from Lainga village of Rajgangpur block and Kutra area visited Dungulei Hill for a picnic. Another group of 30 youths came from Khatakurabahala village. The youths of both groups were indulged in argument for some reason. Subsequently, it led to a bloody clash between them. Five youths were grievously injured in their limbs, heads and chests. 

The injured five alleged that they were stoned and attacked with lethal weapons like Bhujali. 

Co-picnickers rushed the injured to the Kutra hospital as the police and ambulance didn't reach the spot despite calls. Later, they were shifted to a hospital in Rourkela because of their critical conditions.
