Fire Department Deploys Rescue Team At 5 Places In Bhubaneswar For Safe Holi

Bhubaneswar, Mar 25: The fire department has planned to deploy its team of firemen at five susceptible places along with other essentials, keeping in view the safety of the residents for the upcoming Holi festival here tomorrow.

"The Odisha Fire and Emergency services rescue team will be deployed near Kuakhai river, Daya river near Dhauli square, puri canal, Balipatna area and river Daya near Bankual Balianta with Life buoy soaps, life jackets, rubber boats with machine, rescue line, underwater BA set to avoid any mishap while playing Holi," informed Deputy fire officer, Abani Kumar Swain. 

While playing Holi people like to consume 'thandai', 'bhaang' which are intoxicants and also play near water bodies. They might under the influence of these addictive substances slip into water bodies, hence to prevent any mishap the fire department has deployed its firemen in the above five places.
