Ex-Minister Ganeshwar Behera Quits Congress

Bhubaneswar, April 2: Former Minister and Senior Leader Ganeshwar Behera resigned from the prime membership of the Congress today. He has sent his resignation letter to the Pradesh Congress Committee president Sarat Pattanayak. 

Beher has not cited any reason behind his resignation. "I now resign from the prime membership of the Congress," read the first line of Beher's resignation letter addressed to the OPCC president. 

In his resignation letter, he thanked the party for giving him opportunities to serve people in different capacities. 

"The party has given me opportunities to serve people in different capacities. I convey my gratitude to the party through you," Read the letter.
