Elephant Pulls Down House And Attacks Couple In Sambalpur

Sambalpur, Feb 11:  An elephant attack killed one man and left a woman injured last night in Jhankarpali village of Sambalpur district .

The deceased has been identified as Chaitanya Bhue and the injured is his wife Sulochana Bhue.

According to the sources, the elephant broke into their house at midnight when the duo were asleep. 

After being informed the forest officials reached the spot and tried to ward off the jumbo. 

It was informed that the pachyderm then entered a rice mill.
