Elections 2024: BJD Announces Third List Of Candidates For Assembly Polls

Bhubaneswar, Apr 5: Odisha Chief Minister and Biju Janata Dal (BJD) President, Naveen Patnaik on Friday announced the third list of candidates for nine Assembly constituencies for the upcoming elections.

BJD's third list of candidates for Assembly polls is as follows:

  1. Rengali: Sudarshan Haripal
  2. Rourkela: Sarada Prasad Nayak
  3. Biramitrapur: Rohit Joseph Tirkey
  4. Keonjhar: Meena Majhi
  5. Rairangpur: Raisin Murmu
  6. Balasore: Swarup Das
  7. Barabati-Cuttack: Prakash Behera
  8. Salipur: Prasant Behera
  9. Jayadev: Naba Kishore Mallik

With this declaration, the BJD has so far announced candidates for 108 of the total 147 Assembly segments in the state.

Odisha will vote in the Lok Sabha elections and Assembly polls, which are being held simultaneously, in four phases. The polling will be held on May 13, 20, 25 and June 1.
