‘Drunk’ Driver Rams Police Vehicle Into Cyclist, Cobbler In Cuttack

Cuttack, Sep 13: At least two perosns were badly injured after a police vehicle crashed into a cyclist and roadside cobbler here in Odisha on Friday.

The locals alleged that the driver of the police vehicle was in an inebriated condition during the mishap.

According to sources, the driver of the police vehicle lost control of the wheels and hit the cyclist and cobbler near Biju Patnaik Chhak this afternoon.

After hitting the duo, the police vehicle slipped into a drain, sources said.

The locals rescued the injured persons and rushed them to a nearby hospital for their treatment.

After getting information, Cantonment Police reached the spot and started an investigation into the matter.
