Double Murder In Ganjam Again: Man, Daughter-In-Law Killed Over Land Dispute

Berhampur, Jan 19: In a gruesome incident, a youth reportedly killed his paternal uncle and sister-in-law over a land dispute in Paladhuapalli village under Khallikote police station limits in Ganjam district this afternoon.   

The deceased have been identified as Shiva Dakua and Jayanti Dakua. 

Police have detained the accused and are interrogating him.  

Though the exact reason behind the incident is yet to be known, it is suspected that the accused and the victims had a land dispute between them for long. The accused attacked Shiva and Jayanti with a sharp weapon. Family members rushed the two to a hospital in a critical condition. However, doctors declared them dead.
