Diarrhoea Death Toll Reaches Four In Sambalpur

Sambalpur, Mar 31: The number of diarrhoea deaths rose to four with a man succumbing to the water-borne disease in New Market pada in Sambalpur district last night.

The deceased man has been identified as Bimal Suna.

He was undergoing treatment at VISMAR medical college and hospital in Burla. 

On March 27 a woman died due to the disease.

The total tally of diarrhoea infected patients has crossed 150.  

Notably, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik launched the 'Drink from Tap' Yojana in 18 cities, including Sambalpur, in 2022.
