Daylight Robbery In Sambalpur; Jewellery Shop Looted, Owner Injured In Firing

Sambalpur, Feb 16: Some armed miscreants allegedly opened fire and looted a jewellery shop in Gobindapala under Dhanupalli Police Station limits in Sambalpur district today.

The shop owner suffered bullet injuries as the looters fired at him while looting the shop.

The owner of the New Payal Jewellery Shop is identified as Sujit Sonkar.

According to the information, the owner is now critical and admitted to VIMSAR Hospital, Burla for further treatment.

On being informed, Dhanupalli Police reached the spot and started an investigation.
