Cyclone Dana To Weaken Into Deep Depression in Next 6 Hours

Bhubaneswar, Oct 25: After completion of the landfall process, the severe cyclonic storm “Dana” is likely to move northwestwards across north Odisha and weaken gradually into a deep depression during the next six hours.

Light to Moderate Rain/Thundershower has occurred at most places over the districts of Coastal Odisha and at many places over the districts of Interior Odisha with Heavy to Very Heavy Rainfall at one or two places over the districts of Bhadrak, Kendrapada, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Jagatsinghpur & Jajpur of North Odisha.

The chief amount of rainfall recorded in CMS are: Chandbali 16, Rajkanika 16, Nawana 14, Marsaghai 11, Basudevpur 11, Oupada 11, Rajnagar 10, Mohakalapada 9, Aul 8, Paradeep 8, Derabis 7, Bhadrak 7, Balasore 7, Jajpur 7, Kendrapada 7, Nilgiri 7, Kendrapara 7, Pattamundai 7, Soro 6,  Jajpur 6, Binjharpur 6, Udala  6, Kusumi  6, Tihidi 6, Rairangpur  5, Bahanga  5, Garadapur 5, Talcher ( Angul) 5, Bari ( Jajpur) 5, Ranpur ( Nayagarh) 5, Remuna ( Balasore) 5, Akhuapada 5.
