Cuttack, Nov 10: In what seemingly intended as damaging communal harmony, miscreants have thrown a cattle bone into a Ram temple of Niali in Cuttack district this morning.

"While I was worshipping, someone threw a bone into the temple premises. This was done intentionally to ruin the brotherhood in Niali. As the holy Karitk month is going on, many devotees had gathered," said the temple priest.

He added," a complaint will be registered and a great bath will be done in the temple to make it pure."

A member of Biswa Hindu Parishad said," Niali has become the hub of beef."
