Curfew Relaxed In Baleswar; Schools and Colleges To Reopen From Tomorrow

Baleswar, June 23: In view of the return of peace in Baleswar city, the District Administration relaxed the curfew in Sahdevkhunta police station area from 5 am to 9 pm and in Town police station area from 5 am to 2 pm.

However, night curfew will be in force in the areas under these two police stations, said the administration.

The district Collector, addressing a Presser, said internet services can be provided keeping in view the interests of the public. Schools and colleges will open tomorrow. In the area under the Town police station, schools will open in the morning.

As many as 89 people have been arrested in 21 cases filed in connection with the group fight that attracted the imposition of curfew five days back.

The Collector said a case has also been registered regarding the rumor. A person has been arrested in this connection.

If rumors are spread, the general public can file a complaint with the Cyber Cell of the Baleswar police.
