Congress Changes Candidates In 5 Assembly Seats

Bhubaneswar, May 5: The Congress changed candidates in five Assembly constituencies in Odisha today. 

It picked Sudarshan Das anew for the Jaleswar Assembly seat in the place of Debi Prasanna Chand named earlier. 

Similarly, the party changed candidates in Bari, Athamallik, Athagarh and Puri Assembly seats. It picked Debashish Nayak in place of Arati Deo for Bari seat, Himansu Chaulia in place of Bijayananda Chaulia for Athamallik seat, Sudarsan Sahoo in place of Mehboob Ahemed Khan for the Athagarh seat and Uma Ballav Rath in the place of Sujit Mohapatra for Puri seat. 

The party named Akshaya Acharya to fight polls from the Nilgiri Assembly segment.
