Combing Operation In Kuldiha From Tomorrow; Poachers Asked To Surrender Guns

Mayurbhanj, Mar 19: Hours after three forest officials were injured in poachers' gunshot attack, the forest department said a combing operation will be conducted in the Kuldiha sanctuary and adjacent areas from tomorrow. 

Principal Chief Conservator of Forest (Wildlife) Sushant Nanda said the combing operation will be jointly conducted by the Similipal Tiger Protection Force and the Ex-Servicement Team. He asked the locals to surrender guns if they possessed them illegally. 

"We will take strong against those who will be caught with a gun being illegally possessed by them," said 

The two injured forest officials, who are undergoing treatment at the SCB Medical College and Hospital, are out of danger, said the PCCF.
