CM Majhi, Union Ministers Pradhan, Oram & Vaishnaw Condole Demise Of Ratan Tata

Bhubaneswar, Oct 10: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, Union Tribal Affairs Minister Jual Oram and Union Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw have expressed grief on the demise of  Ratan Tata, the Chairman Emeritus of Tata Sons, who passed away at the Breach Candy Hospital following age-related health conditions.

"Deeply saddened by the passing of Ratan Tata Ji, an industry legend and a true national icon. His visionary leadership, unwavering commitment to ethics and immense contributions to India's growth will inspire generations to come. My heartfelt condolences to his family and loved ones. His legacy will live on forever," wrote CM Majhi on X. 

Union Education Minister Pradhan, on X, wrote, "A titan of India Inc. bids adieu! India Inc. is left poorer today with the  passing of Shri #RatanTata. A man with a golden heart, he will be remembered for his philanthropic works and towering contributions to the world of business and enterprise. He belonged to a rare breed of business leaders who was always passionate about giving back to society. He will remain an inspiration to millions around the world. Sincere condolences. My thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends and admirers in this hour of grief. Om Shanti!"

Union Minister Oram has termed Ratan Tata as "a titan" in his post on X. "The clock has stopped ticking. The Titan has passed away. Ratan Tata was an example of integrity, ethical leadership and philanthropy who has left an indelible mark on the world of business and beyond. He will always be held high in our memories. RIP," wrote Oram.

Union Railways Minister Vaishnaw on the other hand wrote, "Deeply saddened by the passing of Sh. Ratan Tata, a visionary business leader, an extraordinary nation-builder, and a remarkable human being. His contributions to industry, society, and humanity have left an indelible legacy. Heartfelt condolences to his family and loved ones. Om Shanti." 

Odisha Deputy Chief Ministers KV SIngh Deo and Pravati Parida have also expressed grief on the demise of Ratan Tata.

"Time has stilled, and a Titan has departed. #RatanTata, a paragon of integrity, ethical leadership, and philanthropy, has etched an indelible legacy upon the world of business and far beyond. His memory shall eternally ascend, a beacon of inspiration for generations to come. Om Shanti," wrote Singh Deo on X.

Parida wrote, "Shri Ratan Tata Ji's passing is a tremendous loss to the nation. He was a true leader, a pioneer, and a legend. Through his integrity, leadership, and generosity, Shri Ratan Tata has made an unforgettable mark on the world of business and beyond."

Tata was admitted to the hospital Monday, sparking intense speculation on his health status in corporate, political and common circles. Later, he had issued a statement that he was undergoing certain routine medical examinations for age-related health concerns.

Subsequently, he was reportedly put on life-support systems, though the Tata Group officials did not confirm or deny anything.
