CM Majhi To Visit Malkangiri This Afternoon To Review Flood Situation

Bhubaneswar, Sept 12: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi will visit Malkangiri this afternoon to review the flood situation in the district.

CM Majhi is scheduled to arrive in Malkangiri in helicopter at around 3 pm in the afternoon. CM Majhi will be accompanied by Revenue Minister Suresh Pujari.

After reviewing the flood situation in the district, CM Majhi will return to Bhubaneswar this evening.

Earlier Wednesday, Roopa Roshan Sahoo, Revenue Divisional Commissioner (RDC), Southern DIvision, had visited the flood affected areas in Malkangiri.

She also visited various Anganwadi centres. Sahoo discussed with Anganwadi workers and also spoke to children. 

She also instructed to plant various vegetables and saplings for better health after speaking with the Anganwadi workers and children.

The Southern Region RDC later visited MV-7 Primary School and spoke with the teachers and students. During her discussion with the teachers, Sahoo emphasised on the betterment of children's education.
