Close Shave For Dutee Chand As Truck Hits Her Car In Cuttack

Cuttack, Dec 13: Internationally acclaimed sprinter Dutee Chand escaped unhurt even as a large vehicle hit her car at Madhupatana early Friday morning. 

The matter came to the fore after Dutee Chand filed a complaint with the Madhupatana police station. 

Chand said a trailer truck hit her car at Madhupatana when she and her friends were returning to Bhubaneswar from OMP Square. The truck failingly tried to overtake and hit her car, she alleged.  

Dutee Chant also alleged that the trailer driver hurled slang at her and her driver. 

The Mandhupatna police have seized the truck and detained its driver, identified as Krishana Baitha.
