Close Shave for 50 Passengers Even As Bus Meets Accident In Balasore

Balasore, Mar 21: Over 50 people had a miraculous escape even as a bus in which they were travelling met with an accident due to a wheel detachment at Bahanaga Bidu Over-Bridge under Soro police station limits in Balasore district this afternoon. 

According to the information, a private bus, named "Jhadeshwar" was on its way from Balasore to Dhamra in Bhadrak district when one of its back wheels got loosened and detached and another wheel was bubbling with the support of one bolt only.

The bus, which was carrying about 50 passengers, started to shiver as the wheel ran away from it. As luck would have it, the driver could manage to control it and bring it to a stationary position.

While some passengers moved to their destination by boarding other buses and autorickshas, the rest were still waiting at the mishap site by the time of filing of the report.
