Campaigning To End Today; 57 PCs, Including 6 In Odisha, To Vote In Last Phase On June 1

Bhubaneswar, May 30: Campaigning for the seventh and final phase of the ongoing 2024 elections will end this evening. Tomorrow is a silent day and the last leg of polling will be conducted the day after tomorrow i.e. June 1.

According to the schedule, 57 Parliamentary constituencies in seven States and one Union territory will go to polls in the last phase on Saturday. Odisha will go to polls in six Parliamentary constituencies and 42 Assembly seats under them.

While campaigning has already picked up In Odisha, star campaigners of BJP, BJD and the Congress are scheduled to campaign for their respective party candidates today.

Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan is scheduled to address several meetings in Baleswar, Bhadrak and Jajpur today.

Counting of votes is scheduled to be held on June 4.
