Bus Slips Down Hill and Overturns In Sundargarh; 15 Injured, 5 Critical

Sundargarh, June 17: As many as 15 persons were injured, five of them critically, as a bus slipped down a hill and overturned in the Bonai area of Sundargarh district on Monday morning. 

The incident occurred at Tamada under the Gurundia police station limits. All the injured persons have been rushed to the Rourkela Government Hospital, Rourkela. 

According to the information, the ill-fated bus, carrying about 30 passengers, was en route from Pankadihi to Bonai when the driver lost control of its wheels. The bus slipped down and overturned a few metres away.   

Police and locals rescued the injured and rushed them to the Rourkela hospital.
